“Africa Made in China”

Pavel Zubov with Professor Nina Sylvanus

“Africa Made in China”

Spring 2015

Pavel (International Affairs) is contributing to Professor Sylvanus’s (Anthropology) research on China-Africa relations, which examines China’s recent involvement in the production of cultural and economic life in global Africa. He is developing an annotated bibliography of references and a literature review of these references on this topic. By conducting this research, Pavel is applying critical anthropological theory and methodology to an area of study he is interested in pursuing further as an academic.
