Faculty Seminar on Race and Justice

The Institute on Race and Justice hosted its inaugural Faculty Research Seminar, featuring Dr. Kevin Drakulich, Associate Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University.  Dr. Drakulich’s presentation entitled, “Racial Justice vs. Racial Resentment: What to Expect from Midterm Voters in the Era of Black Lives Matter and Donald Trump,” was given to a group of twenty NU faculty, IRJ Community Advisory Board members, students and community practitioners. This event contributed to a substantive and timely discussion on race, justice during the midterm elections.  IRJ’s Faculty Research Seminar is a direct response to faculty input identifying the need for regular conversations on race and justice research that is being conducted by faculty and others across NU’s campus.
