The CSDI Advisory Council Member, Adam Hosein, Gives the Second Faculty Seminar on Race and Justice

The Institute on Race and Justice (IRJ) hosted the second Faculty Research Seminar on Feb. 13 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, featuring Dr. Adam Hosein, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Religion in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Northeastern University. Dr. Hosein’s talk, “Inequality and Insecurity—A Discussion of the Travel Ban,” discussed “the arguments in Trump v. Hawaii and elsewhere about whether the ban is consistent with respect for equality and whether it is essential to national security.”

This event was part of an ongoing series to highlight the work of faculty engaged in race and social justice research on campus and to provide an opportunity for intellectual dialogue on these important issues. For more information about this and other events, please contact Lisa Laguerre at l.bailey@northeastern.edu or 617-373-4678 or visit the website at www.northeastern.edu/irj .
