Alicia Sasser Modestino named IZA Research Fellow

Alicia Sasser Modestino, Associate Professor of Public Policy and Urban Affairs and Economics, has been selected to join the IZA Network Membership Committee network as an IZA Research Fellow.

Dr. Modestino’s current research focuses on labor and health economics including youth development, changing employer skill requirements, childcare, and the opioid crisis.

IZA is a nonprofit research institute and the leading international network in labor economics. The mission and vision of the IZA is to act as a research-based mediator between science and society by developing a global cluster of excellence in labor market research that explores the changing world of work and promotes the future of labor market research.

The IZA also publishes a world-recognized discussion paper series, IZA Discussion Papers, where IZA members circulate their ongoing research before eventually being published in leading academic journals.
