J-PAL’s Executive Committee (Abhijit Banerjee, Iqbal Dhaliwal, Esther Duflo, Claudio Ferraz, Amy Finkelstein, Kelsey Jack, Ben Olken, Tavneet Suri, and Rema Hanna), have invited Silvia Prina to be a J-PAL affiliate.
As a J-PAL affiliate, Professor Prina can benefit from their common services, such as joint hiring and training of field staff, research and policy support for projects in countries where J-PAL and IPA operate, applying for research grants from J-PAL’s Initiatives in Agriculture, Crime and Violence, Health, Education, Governance, etc., and receiving information on potential research opportunities from our policy and implementation partners.
Professor Prina will to contribute to J-PAL by participating in activities such as teaching J-PAL’s executive education courses, policy outreach (including presenting at J-PAL-organized conferences and other events), responding to matchmaking opportunities for research projects, and peer-reviewing grant applications for the Initiatives.
