PhD Economics Workshops

Summer 2019

We will hold a summer dissertation workshop for PhD students.  It will be held for all students (not separately for IO and Labor). PhD students at the dissertation stage should regularly attend these workshops, and their academic year analogs, except when they conflict with work and teaching obligations.   Attendance by all students is encouraged.

Wenting Liao presents May 15th and 12 noon and everyone else should sign up to present later this summer!

These will tentatively be held on Wednesdays from 12 to 1:15 pm.

Fall 2019

The PhD economics workshop features work in progress by doctoral students and occasional faculty presentations. There are two types of workshops offered – Industrial Organization and Labor.

Although the Fall schedule is still to be determined, each workshop typically meets Wednesdays for IO and Mondays for Labor at noon in 316 Lake Hall, and is open to all economics graduate students and faculty.
