Alumni Award for Gary Goshgarian

Professor Gary Goshgarian has been awarded the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association Robert H. Goddard Award for Outstanding Professional Achievement.  Professor Goshgarian, who earned a bachelor’s degree in physics at WPI, is, under the name Gary Braver, the author of eight well-received novels, most recently Tunnel Vision. His novel Flashback won the 2006 Massachusetts Honor Book Award.

The Robert H. Goddard Award for Outstanding Professional Achievement is presented by the WPI Alumni Association to alumni who have become masters of their field or who have gone above and beyond the normal career path. The award was named for Robert H. Goddard, the father of modern rocketry and a WPI alumnus.
