Doctoral Candidate Jim McGrath accepts postdoc at Brown University

Jim McGrath has accepted a position as a postdoctoral fellow in Digital Public Humanities at the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and Cultural Heritage at Brown University.  Jim will teach courses in the Center’s Master’s of Public Humanities program, consult with students, faculty members, and community partners on digital projects, and continue his own work in public history and digital humanities. At Northeastern, Jim has been Project Director of Our Marathon: The Boston Bombing Digital Archive and Coordinator for Northeastern’s Digital Scholarship Group. Jim will defend his dissertation, “Borrowed Country: Texts, Archives, and American Poets in The Twenty-First Century,” directed by Professor Elizabeth Dillon, in August 2015.
