Simpkins (PhD ’16) Accepts Full-time Teaching Position

Kate Simpkins (PhD ’16) has accepted a full-time faculty position in the English Communications Division at Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama. In this position, Kate will teach on WCC campuses in Dothan and Eufala, Alabama. Kate defended her doctoral dissertation, “The Absent Agronomist and the Lord of Poison: Cultivating Modernity in Transatlantic Literature, 1758-1854,” in June 2016 (directed by Elizabeth Maddock Dillon).
