Peaker (PhD ’14) accepts position at Barnard College





























Alicia Peaker (Ph.D. ’14) has accepted a position of Digital Scholarship Librarian for the Barnard Library Teaching, Learning and Digital Scholarship department at Barnard College in New York City. Peaker enters this role after serving as the Director of Digital Scholarship, Critical Making, and Digital Collections Management for the past two years and the Digital Scholarship Specialist for two years before that, both at Bryn Mawr College. Prior to her positions at Bryn Mawr, Peaker supported digital humanities research and pedagogy initiatives as the Mellon CLIR/DLF Postdoctoral Fellow in the Digital Liberal Arts at Middlebury College. Peaker successfully defended her dissertation, “‘Our English ground’: Domesticity, nationalism, and the natural world, 1900-1950” (directed by Professor Laura Green) in 2014. Peaker will begin her new position at Barnard on March 30, 2020.
