Shun Kiang (PhD ’15) wins New Faculty Member of the Year Award

Shun Kiang (PhD ’15) has won the New Faculty Member of the Year Award from the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he teaches as an Assistant Professor of English. This award is designated for faculty members who have not yet completed the third year of full-time teaching with UCO. Shun was nominated by his peers for this distinguished honor.

Shun defended his doctoral dissertation, “‘Only Connect’: Friendship, belonging, and space in the works of J. M. Barrie, E. M. Forster, and J. R. Ackerley,” in April 2015 (directed by Professor Laura Green). Congratulations, Shun!
