Julia Flanders, Professor of the Practice in English, and Nicole Aljoe, Associate Professor in English, have received Northeastern TIER 1 grant funding for their project, “Representing Racial Identity in Early Women’s Writing.” This competitive funding was awarded to projects that “position the university to compete in emerging areas of significant research funding,” with particularly favor to multidisciplinary teams engaging in cross-college collaboration.
