Associate Professor of English Ryan Cordell and PhD student Avery Blankenship have shared their latest Viral Texts draft book chapter, entitled, “Reprinting Wright: Reevaluating American Literary Collections through Newspaper Selections.” The chapter highlights Blankenship’s research into the ways newspaper reprinting of fictional selections and fragments might realign accounts of readership and canonization in 19th-Century fiction.
