Qianqian Zhang-Wu, Assistant Professor of English and Director of Multilingual Writing, is one of ten recipients of this year’s Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) Scholars for the Dream Award. From the CCCC website, the purpose of this award is to “encourage scholarship by historically underrepresented groups.” Factors considered in the selection process include “originality of research, significance of pedagogical or theoretical contributions to the field, and potential for larger, subsequent projects.” Zhang-Wu will be honored alongside other award winners at a special reception during the CCCC Annual Convention.
