Savita Maharaj (English Major, Writing & Africana Studies Minor ’22) has won the 3rd place prize in the annual CSSH Co-op Poster Expo. This highly competitive award recognizes posters that stand out in terms of content, design, and the story told through the poster about the student’s co-op experience. Savita’s poster captures the complex and multifaceted nature of academic programming in the Africana Studies Program at Northeastern, where Savita spent her co-op during the Summer and Fall 2020 semesters. Savita was recognized by Dean Uta Poiger for this achievement in a special ceremony on October 6th.

Please join us in congratulating Savita!
