“Building a (Better) Book” Student Presentations

Time: 1:35 PM to 2:40 PM
Location: Snell Library, room 90 (downstairs near the archives)
Contact: Professor Ryan Cordell (r.cordell@northeastern.edu)

Students in Professor Ryan Cordell’s “Building a (Better) Book” honors course (https://f19bbb.ryancordell.org/) have spent their semester conceiving and producing original book projects, and will be presenting their work during two final class periods: Monday, December 2nd and Wednesday, December 4th, both from 1:35–2:40pm. These projects range from letterpress-printed chapbooks to multi-issue zines to virtual reality environments. These projects draw on students’ wide-ranging disciplinary expertise and speak to their individual interests.

Each student will present a very brief (2-3 minute) overview of their project, to be followed by an open session in which attendees can circulate between projects and experience them hands-on. This event is free and open to the Northeastern community. Please join us in celebrating our students’ work!
