Professor Emeritus of Sociology and Criminology
Jack Levin, Ph.D. has authored or co-authored more than thirty books including The Allure of Premeditated Murder, Extreme Killing, Serial Killers and Sadistic Murderers, Mass Murder, and Hate Crimes as well as more than 250 articles and columns. While an active faculty member, Levin was honored as Massachusetts “Professor of the Year” and by the ASA for his contributions to the public understanding of sociology. He has also received awards from the ESS, AACS, and SSSP.
