Joshua Abel

Joshua Abel has spent his professional life between academia, policy institutions, and the private sector. In his time at the Federal Reserve, he worked on housing and mortgage policy, which motivated his academic research agenda, focused on how mortgage design impacts household decision-making. Most recently, he has worked at the economic consulting firm Analysis Group, providing economic expertise for clients involved in litigation in a diverse range of industries.
Professor Abel’s academic research on finance-related topics has been published in the Journal of Applied Econometrics and American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics.
