Regina Kazyulina conducted research for her dissertation on the lives of civilians under the German occupation of Ukraine during World War II in Kiev, Ukraine in the summer of 2012 with support from a Lucille R. Zanghi LA ’72 and James M. Dow LA ’72 Endowed History Fund, as well as a Gillis Family Fund for Graduate World Historical Research.
