Madelyn Stone received Honorable Mention for paper entitled “Reality is the Satire: The Will to Hope in the Writings of Jura Soyfer”

Madelyn Stone won an Honorable Mention this year for her paper produced for the $5000 Ruderman Scholarship in Jewish Studies grant she had while studying at Northeastern University. She wrote the paper with Professor Laurel Leff on an original study using German sources about a German Jewish journalist killed in the Holocaust. The paper was entitled “’Reality is the Satire: The Will to Hope in the Writings of Jura Soyfer”
