Join the Northeastern University Asian Studies Program for the fourth speaker in this series, Dr. Mae Nagi as she presents “The Chinese Question: The Gold Rushes and Global Politics”.

Dr. Mae Ngai is a known author, professor, and historian who has taught at both the University of Chicago and Columbia University. She is Lung Family Professor of Asian American Studies and Professor of History currently at Columbia. Her teachings range from the history of immigration in America to colonization and decolonization. She is known for her many awards and published pieces which are featured in The Washington Post, New York Times, and many others.
