Trump, the Transatlantic Rift, and the Future of European Security

On April 14, 2025, the center hosted “Trump, the Transatlantic Rift, and the Future of European Security” event with Dr. Marianne Riddervold to discuss how political shifts in the US are impacting European security dynamics.

Marianne RIddervold is research professor of International relations at ARENA – Centre for European Studies at the University of Oslo and at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI). She is also a senior fellow at the UC Berkeley Institute of European studies. Riddervold’s research interests include transatlantic relations, European integration, European security and international relations in the global commons.
