Sixty days into US president Donald Trump’s second term, opinion seems more divided than ever before, with his approval ratings lower compared to other recent presidents during the same timeline, as per a report. Although Trump’s approval ratings began higher this time than at the beginning of 2017, recent surveys indicate a more divided picture, with increasing numbers of Americans growing less enthusiastic as his term progressed, reported USA Today.

The president has been increasingly criticized for his contentious actions, including cutting federal agencies and putting billionaire Elon Musk in leadership positions within his administration, as per the report. According to polls, these actions, have not been popular among a large majority of the population.
