Congratulations to Max Berger on winning the 2024-2025 Holocaust Legacy Foundation Gideon Klein Scholarship.

Max Berger ’28 has been named the Holocaust Legacy Foundation Gideon Klein Scholar for the next academic year.

He aims to develop a website that curates and visually interprets Holocaust poetry by poet victims, providing insights into their experiences and the unique ways they expressed their trauma, while employing interactive data visualizations and Holocaust artwork to create a dynamic and comprehensive archive of these lost poet voices.

Max Berger is majoring in Business Administration and Design and minoring in Jewish Studies. He is a multidisciplinary designer and researcher born and raised in New York.

The Holocaust Legacy Foundation Gideon Klein Award is supported by the Holocaust Legacy Foundation.
