All Jewish Studies Courses

As an interdisciplinary field, Jewish studies offers courses in many different disciplines, including history, music, literature, political science, international affairs, sociology, gender studies, religion, philosophy, and modern languages; classes cover the Jewish experience both in Israel and in Diaspora communities around the world.

Courses taken through relevant Dialogue of Civilizations programs also count towards the Jewish studies minor and combined majors. Currently, the Israel, Germany-Poland, and Poland Dialogues count for Jewish Studies credit. If you are doing relevant coursework on another Dialogue that you would like to count for Jewish studies, or to verify that your Dialogue courses have been counted for your Jewish studies minor or major, please contact Lori Lefkovitz at l.lefkovitz@northeastern.edu .
