Jewish Studies explores the history, cultures, and religion of the Jewish people. The Program examines the development of Jewish cultures over time and in different places, considering the influences of the societies in which Jews lived. Students have opportunities to learn about Judaism as a religion, Jewish texts and interpretations, the Jewish historical experience, including the Holocaust, and diverse aspects of the modern state of Israel.
