Student will support community engaged research in East Boston and Chelsea, as well as support the larger comparative project. Student will work closely with the team to recruit participants and conduct photovoice workshops and focus groups. In addition to the community work, the student will also lead analysis of federal funding streams and Massachusetts climate and energy policy.

Project Description
This project explores community visions for transformation of the energy system and alignment between the community visions and climate policy and funding at the federal and state level. The project involves comparative cases in Puerto Rico, West Virginia and Boston, and works closely with community partners in each site.

Qualifications Necessary
Interest and experience with climate policy, climate finance and environmental justice. Commitment to community-engaged research. Training and interest in qualitative research methods, including interviews, focus groups and photovoice. Spanish language skills a plus.
