The student will support the research team to analyze funding for climate adaptation and climate policies. Will work on literature review connecting funding and policies to concepts of transformational adaptation, and support the research team with community engagement.

Project Description
The project looks to use participatory planning methodologies to improve adaptation planning for transformational change with a climate justice lens. It seeks to understand how resources for adaptation can be connected to community priorities and how this can be integrated with modeling to inform better decision-making.

Qualifications Necessary
Student should be familiar with climate finance and climate policy, particularly in the US context. Familiarity with Nature-based Solutions and retreat as adaptation strategies also desired. Strong qualitative research skills required. Commitment to community-engaged research.
