Doctoral Research Assistant - Correction Officer Culture, Climate, and Wellness

The SGA working on this project will help coordinate collaborative efforts with the Massachusetts Department of Correction. Duties will include scheduling of officer advisory committee meetings, running focus groups, and collecting survey data.

    On this project, we will be working with the Massachusetts Department of Correction to implement changes in workplace policies identified through our earlier research efforts as harmful to officer health and well-being. The research is funded through the National Institute of Justice.

  • Qualifications Necessary

    Must have a car as research is conducted on site at prisons around the state. Travel time and mileage will be reimbursed. Survey design and implementation experience required. Prior experience conducting focus groups preferred.
