Graduate Research Assistant - Boston HEAT evaluation: Implementing a provider-partnered evaluation.
The Boston Human Exploitation Advocacy Team (HEAT) serves women living at the intersection of homelessness, substance addiction, and commerical sexual exploitation on the streets and in a low-barrier drop-in center. The evaluation examines how HEAT serves women, what the women's needs are, and why they continue to work with HEAT as well as other medical and legal service providers. The student in this position will collect data by conducting inventory and interviewing women working with HEAT; analyze data from inventory, interviews, and post-contact forms; collaborate with the PI on developing funding sources and dissemination; and supervise an undergraduate. The student in this position will have an interest in working with the population as well as experience interviewing the population.
