NULab/DITI Research Fellow

The activities of NULab/DITI Research Fellows fall into three domains:

1. Teaching for and supporting the work of the Digital Integration Teaching Initiative. Responsibilities include: developing educational modules and assignments in collaboration with CSSH faculty members; leading in-class workshops on digital tools and skills; supporting publicity and outreach for the program; updating the DITI website and GitHub repository; and developing guidelines and best practices around the DITI for both internal and external purposes.
2. Supporting the activities of the NULab, such as events, collaborative research, and web publications. Fellows are responsible for helping to support the successful operations of the NULab, including publicity and event planning, writing and publishing resources for our website, communicating with students and faculty, and keeping our information systems updated.
3. Designing and completing a digital or computational research project. NULab Fellows projects are independently designed and developed, but they typically contribute to and receive mentorship from existing faculty research projects.

As opportunities arise, Fellows may work on other NULab research initiatives, grant writing and administration, and other projects related to the NULab’s interdisciplinary teaching and research.
