Program Coordinator and Research Scientist - Global Resilience Institute: Global Resilience Research Network (GRRN)

We seek a motivated graduate student to support the Global Resilience Research Network (GRRN) and external grant initiatives at Northeastern University's Global Resilience Institute. The position involves coordinating network activities for our 300+ member international consortium, including facilitating collaborative research projects, organizing virtual and in-person networking events, and maintaining communication across partner institutions. The student will also provide critical support for grant-funded research projects, including literature reviews, data analysis, report preparation, and grant proposal development. This role offers unique exposure to cutting-edge resilience research, direct engagement with global experts from academia, industry, and non-profits, and hands-on experience in research administration. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an interest in interdisciplinary resilience solutions addressing global challenges. Experience with project management, data analysis, and scientific writing is preferred.

It applies for grants, puts out research reports and peer reviewed articles, and holds symposia and conferences.
