  • Project Description

Cambridge Companions to Literature are lively, accessible introductions to major writers, topics, and periods. All are collections of specially commissioned essays, shaped and introduced to appeal to student readers. Each volume, the one on Mary Prince and the other on Ignatius Sancho, brings together 12-16 essays that are intended to offer a systematic critical account of each writer. The scholarly edition of Ignatius Sancho's Letters will be published as part of Oxford World Classics series. Like the Cambridge Companion series, it is aimed at college/university student readers.
