The College of Social Sciences and Humanities is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 CSSH Outstanding Staff Awards, Elda Ceribashi and Stephanie Knutson. Dean Uta Poiger recognized Elda and Stephanie at the annual CSSH Faculty and Staff Celebration on Thursday, April 19, 2018.
Elda Ceribashi – Budget & Grant Administrator – School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs
As evidenced by the many individuals who wrote in on her behalf, Elda provides an exceptional level of service particularly to faculty new to Northeastern. One faculty member writes, “I am so grateful for the time and effort that Elda has put in to making me feel welcome at Northeastern, and know that she has consistently gone above and beyond her role to provide truly outstanding service to the School.”
Stephanie Knutson – Grants Administrator – Department of Sociology & Anthropology
Colleagues describe Stephanie as a remarkably efficient and organized administrator and praise her for going beyond her job responsibilities to master new tasks. She not only completes her work efficiently, but she supports the faculty and students in her unit to ensure that others stay on track. As the public face of the Social Science Environmental Health Research Institute, Stephanie performs the role “in a way that reflects very well on us and on Northeastern as a whole,” as one of her nominators puts it.
