Office Spaces: Imke Reimers

Imke Reimers with items from her office

Imke Reimers is an assistant professor of economics in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities. Reimers joined Northeastern in 2014 and focuses her research on how new technology affects firms and consumers, including how policymakers may adjust intellectual property policy to ensure efficient market outcomes. She was born in Germany, and played tennis in college at the University of Nebraska, where she was the first Academic All-American in the history of women’s tennis at the university. Nowadays, she has several hobbies that keep her active throughout the year.
