Sebastian Stockman

Teaching Professor in English

Sebastian Stockman is a Teaching Professor in the English Department. A former newspaper reporter, he holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from Emerson College, and he publishes essays and criticism widely.

Stockman has written for The New York Times Book Review, The Wall Street Journal, and The Boston Globe, as well as The Millions, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and The Georgia Review. His essays have been notable selections in the Best American Essays and Best American Sportswriting collections.
