Joani LaMachia joined CSSH co-op in 2009 where she is currently a senior cooperative education coordinator working primarily with undergraduate and graduate students, academic faculty, and students in the International Affairs and Asian Studies programs. She has a BA in Government from Suffolk University, a dual MEd in Education Administration and Pastoral Ministry from Boston College, an MA in Bilingual Education from the University of Massachusetts, and an EdD in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern. She is the co-author of the book Look Up: Gaining Insight and Direction through Experiential Learning for your Personal, Professional and Civic Life. Prior to coming to CSSH at Northeastern, Joani taught in the College of Professional Studies Graduate School of Education as an adjunct faculty member and was a Literacy Program Director for the Sudanese Education Fund in Arlington, MA.
