Writing Center Tutor
Matt is a fifth year Journalism and English student. At the Writing Center, he specializes in journalism, food writing, nonfiction, and academic essays. He is proficient in AP style and is also familiar with MLA style. Matt is from Washington, D.C. He has reported food and wine news for the San Francisco Chronicle and breaking news for the Boston Globe, as well as edited for a couple of on-campus publications. He is a huge food nerd and spends his free time searching for new restaurants, trying new foods and perusing through cookbooks to look at recipes he doesn’t have time to make.
