Peter B. Hutt II (Parent ’20) is a Partner at Covington & Burling. LLP where he represents clients in False Claims Act and fraud litigation as well as the full range of contact and grant matters. He has testified before Congress concerning proposed amendments to the False Claims Act and has litigated significant contract matters in the Court of Federal Claims and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. He is Vice Chair and former Chair of the Procurement Fraud Committee of the ABA Section of Public Contract Law and a Trustee of the Washington Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs and a former Trustee of the Sidwell Friends School. Mr. Hutt earned his B.A from Yale, his J.D. from Stanford and is the father of a Northeastern University history major.
