Senior Administrative Assistant – Town of Concord

The Town of Concord is seeking a full-time Senior Administrative Assistant in the Town Manager’s Office. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the center of Town operations and serve as a key member of the Town Manager’s administrative leadership team. The Senior Administrative Assistant provides direct support to the Select Board and Town Manager and serves as a liaison with Town staff, elected officials, Committee members, volunteers and the general public; Performs a variety of administrative, professional and office management tasks, including preparing agendas, packets and meeting minutes for the Town’s Select Board; Attends meetings and records minutes for biweekly Select Board meetings and coordinates licensing and regulatory procedures, Committee appointments and special projects. The position requires an in-person work schedule with weekday availability Monday-Friday but also offers a flexible work schedule based on attendance at Select Board meetings held every other Monday evening.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented with excellent communication and customer service skills and can work with employees, volunteers and the general public with ease. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, including Word, Excel & Outlook. Municipal experience is highly preferred, but not required. Must be available for occasional overtime. The full pay range is $27.39-$38.44/hour with a starting rate up to $32/hour based on experience and qualifications.
