MPP Alumna Sophie Arjevanidze ’23 Completes Women in Business – BEcome a Leader program in Paris

Sophie Arjevanidze ’23 (MPP) was selected to join the highly-regarded Women in Business – BEcome a Leader program by the Women Initiative Foundation and Université Paris-Saclay in Paris. in September 2025. In June 2025, the programme was also hosted by Northeastern University at the Silicon Valley campus in California, in partnership with the Women Initiative Foundation.
Sophie currently works in Paris as an adviser at the Organisation for Co-operation and Economic Development (OECD). Her career spans more than a decade in public policy and international development.
The program included a week-long in-person seminars followed by six months of personalized mentoring, an online workshop, and a diploma ceremony in spring 2026. Participants explored leadership in uncertain times, adaptive management, gender roles and approaches to designing their own professional projects.
Sophie saw this as a unique opportunity to strengthen her ability to drive change at the intersection of policy, technology, and business, and to continue advancing inclusive innovation on a global scale.
