California Department of Finance’s 8th Annual Policy and Recruitment Conference, October 18th

Join us for the California Department of Finance’s 8th Annual Policy and Recruitment Conference on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. You will hear about career and internship opportunities, interact with state policy experts, and learn about the state’s legislative and budget process, independent audits and evaluations, and public policy and economic issues.

This year’s presentation topics will include information on California’s Audits and Evaluations, Prison Closures and Re-Entry Services, and Population Migration and fiscal impact. Audience members will also have the opportunity to interact directly with Finance staff during a Q&A Panel, where Finance staff will answer questions from the audience.

This conference is being held virtually. Attendance is free and open to undergraduate students graduating by Spring 2025, graduate students, and state public policy professionals.
