Economic Justice Center Impact Manager - Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector

The Impact Manager will lead the StopScams SF initiative and bring an innovative lens to build and improve EJC’s work. StopScams SF is a bold new citywide campaign from the San Francisco Treasurer’s Office to stop fraud and scams from draining the resources of residents most targeted by these schemes—especially seniors, immigrants, and youth.  This position will build on two decades of groundbreaking, applied policy work on issues such as fine and fee reform, socially responsible banking, children’s savings accounts, and barriers to financial inclusion.

A successful candidate will have:

• A passion for developing a new initiative to combat fraud and scams and working toward systems change
• Demonstrated experience convening diverse stakeholders to achieve a goal
• Outstanding project management skills.

The position requires strong communication and writing skills; strong initiative and a collaborative approach; creative approaches to problem solving; and experience and/or interest in innovating from within a government setting.
