Prof. Kim Lucas Co-Launches Early Childhood Policy Research Summit

On April 2, 2025, Dr. Kimberly D. Lucas and colleagues from Wellesley Centers for Women and BU Wheelock College of Education and Human Development launched the first ever MA Early Childhood Policy Research Summit. The day included over 100 researchers, policymakers, practitioners, students, and funders–all coming together to think about what research, practice, and policy alignment can look like in support of young children, families, and early educators throughout the Commonwealth. In Summer 2025, an expanded leadership team and working group will build a statewide early childhood research collaborative that leverages the tools of research, data, and design to continue coordination and alignment efforts.
