The School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs is a hub for innovative, interdisciplinary research that identifies and seeks solutions for issues of pressing concern to society at local, state, national, and international levels, from transportation, housing and community development to social and environmental justice, resilience and sustainability. Faculty's use-inspired research often crosses college boundaries and is shaping the world in which we live.

Students also undertake rigorous research projects before they graduate, be they in the classroom, side-by-side with a faculty member, or in one of our research centers. Continue reading about the School's research portfolio. Read More
