Building Resilience: A Career in Disaster Consulting
In my upcoming talk, I’ll introduce myself, share insights into my role as a contractor and consultant at Cadmus, and explain why I chose a career focused on disaster resilience. I’ll provide a brief overview of management consulting, particularly how it applies to disaster resilience and supporting government clients like FEMA. I’ll also discuss how my education and experiences, including both challenges and opportunities, helped me reach my current position. Finally, I’ll offer to connect with students interested in disaster resilience or pursuing opportunities with Cadmus.
