Dr. Carie Little Hersh is a Teaching Professor in Anthropology at Northeastern University and a former attorney. Her research focuses on religion, politics, and secular knowledge production at two religious organizations in Virginia. She writes for relevANTH blog and hosts a public anthropology podcast, Anthropologist on the Street.
Dr Hersh was the first speaker of our “Contemporary Issues in Security and Resilience Studies” Speaker Series Events. On January 23rd, She held a lecture entitled “Rituals of Resilience”. The video is now on YouTube.
The second event of the Series will be held on February, 13. Professor Shalanda H. Baker will talk about “Precarious Energy Futures”.
