Anna Ulrika Bonnier

Doctoral Candidate

Ulrika Bonnier is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at Northeastern University, specializing in Comparative Politics and International Relations. Her forthcoming dissertation focuses on the link between trafficking in persons and corruption.

In addition to her academic research, Ulrika is an international policy expert on corruption, illicit trade and human trafficking. She is the author of several books on anti-corruption and public sector integrity issues, most recently Trafficking in Persons and Corruption: Breaking the Chain, published by the OECD in December 2016.

Ulrika is Director of Programs at the Transnational Alliance to Combat Illicit Trade (TRACIT). Prior to joining TRACIT, Ulrika worked in the OECD’s Directorate for Public Governance and Territorial Development, where she advised governments on policy development and implementation in the areas of public sector integrity, anti-corruption and illicit trade.
