Deaf Interpreter Institute features all of the findings of the NCIEC’s Deaf Interpreter work team including survey and focus group results, an annotated bibliography of video and print material on Deaf Interpreting, a case study on Deaf/Hearing interpreter team dynamics, among other resources.

Visitors can learn how to become an interpreter, how to identify college programs, career paths, and other helpful information. is a service of the NCIEC and St. Catherine University providing English and ASL resources for interpreters, consumers and practitioners. Find discussions of medical and mental healthcare related topics, domains and competencies for healthcare interpreting, VLOGs, independent study opportunities, and links to other valuable resources.


The National Clearinghouse of Rehabilitation Training Materials (NCRTM) website is the central portal for accessing rehabilitation training resources. The site features robust search capabilities, a star quality rating system, enhanced usability and accessibility, and most importantly, new resources. Site content includes high quality training materials that cover a range of topics relevant to the rehabilitation and education communities. Additionally, while the clearinghouse focuses on current materials, an archive of NCRTM resources dating back to the 1960s will remain available.
