A recent paper published by SSEHRI members Vivian Underhill, Grace Poudrier, and Sara Wylie, titled “Outcomes of the Halliburton Loophole: Chemicals regulated by the Safe Drinking Water Act in US fracking disclosures, 2014–2021” was featured in an Environmental Health News article. The paper investigates the impacts of the “Halliburton Loophole,” which exempts fracking operations from the Clean Water Act.
